The Rotary Club of Toronto West invites you to join us for the Rotary Community Heroes Awards gala fundraiser to be held virtually on:
Friday April 23 at 7:00 pm
Your donation and attendance at this virtual event will help support Meagan’s HUG, a community based charity that raises hope and awareness about paediatric brain tumours and funds for paediatric brain tumour research,
and ProAction Cops and Kids, a Toronto Police Services program directed at tackling youth violence, bullying and mental health. It will also help the Rotary Club of Toronto West to support local charitable organizations experiencing a spike in demand for services due to the pandemic, such as Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter, the Thistletown Food Bank, the St. James Food Basket, Haven on the Queensway and the George Hull Centre. All of these have heightened need for food, clothes and support for mental health programs at this time.

Our award recipients are: David Lockett, Dr. Eric Bouffet and Police Constables Julie Rowe and Leanna Gill. They are all standouts in their respective communities. They are heroes.
This unique online event will be hosted by CTV's Colin D'Mello and feature an online offering of some wonderful objects to bid on, with the proceeds going to support these very deserving causes.

Registration
To register for the Awards event, we ask that you complete two steps.
- Kindly make a minimum $50 donation per person by completing the form below. You will immediately receive a charitable receipt for the full amount of your donation from the Rotary Club of Toronto West. King Events will email a link to you approximately 48 hours before the gala which will enable you to access the event.
- As a back-up, please email us at rtwrcha@gmail.com to confirm that you have made a donation and to advise us if you are planning to attend with others so that we can organize a virtual table for you.
