Mr Tom (Tamas) Mihalik Was Honoured at the 19th Annual Youth Impact Awards Dinner Friday, January 26th, 2018 at The Old Mill Inn
It’s amazing what we can accomplish when hearts and minds work together. The Rotary Club of Toronto West has been taking action for many years to bring lasting change in our communities by empowering our youth.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award to this year’s recipient: Mr. Tom (Tamas) Mihalik.
Tom’s energy and passion for his community has left a lasting impression on Toronto. He has been described as one of the greatest Canadian’s ever as a result of his deep affection for Toronto and Canada. He is kind and generous, and often goes above and beyond in serving the community. He has a huge heart which has directed him to look after the needy. He has committed a lifetime of service to multiple organizations, supporting, among others, children’s breakfast clubs, youth scholarships, hospital foundations and students without borders. Tom’s commitment has earned both Tom and his business, Tom’s Place, many well-deserved accolades.
In addition to recognizing Mr. Tom Mihalik, along with five other remarkable community leaders in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the event raised funds to enable Rotary Club of Toronto West to continue our commitment to making positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. Our shared passion for service helps us accomplish the remarkable.
